AFA Joins with State Bar of Michigan Animal Law Section
February 25, 2017: The two organizations sent this joint letter to Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow. As Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, she is in a unique position to exercise the long-standing oversight role that the Senate plays with regard to federal agencies. We will provide updates when Sen. Stabenow contacts us. (The letter is followed by information required by the State Bar of Michigan when one of its sections takes a public policy position).
“We request that you exercise your oversight authority regarding executive agencies,
as the Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture …
and inquire into this action with an end of
restoring these important records.”

Society has just started to hear the crying of animals for our protection. To turn our backs on them now, we will be loosing their and our self respect. Of course their votes can not be counted at the polls nor at the electoral college, but their welfare thru our care will show the world that we are concern for the world, as by how we care for our own. All lives matter!
